The Health Physicist is responsible for assisting the Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) with duties related to planning, organizing, developing, and managing all aspects of a comprehensive Radiation Safety Program. The Health Physicist assists with regulatory compliance for domestic and international operations, develops and writes procedures, trains staff, performs shielding calculations, prepares project specific radiological safety reviews, and assists with on site work (installations, service, and calibrations).
